But patients shouldn’t have to choose between paying for the cost of their medications and the rest of life’s necessities. But that’s exactly what’s happening to thousands of patients in Massachusetts and elsewhere across the country. Insurance companies are constantly putting patient health at risk by covering less and less of the cost of critical medications. Has the cost of your prescription medications risen in recent years? Now lawmakers in Massachusetts are working to change that and Patients for Prescription Access wants to help make sure everyone in the state can afford the medications they need to live a healthy life.
