The BCGS Artist Series is the foremost classical guitar concert program in the Boston area. Recent artists have included Manuel Barrueco, Gabriel Bianco, Jorge Caballero, Cavatina Duo, Duo Melis, Eliot Fisk, Paul Galbraith, Katona Twins, David Leisner, David Russell, Hopkinson Smith, Pavel Steidl, Marcin Dylla, Ana Vidovic, Jason Vieaux, and Xuefei Yang. The BCGS is also a partner of the Hingham S
unday Sounds Series, which features local professionals. The BCGS regularly hosts member performance parties and facilitates interaction among Boston area professionals, students, aficionados, and audiences. The BCGS also hosts a Spring Festival featuring local and visiting artists concerts, master classes, ensemble performances, lectures, and more. The BCGS is proud to be the trustee of the Frank Wallace Memorial Scholarship Fund, honoring the memory of one of New England's most influential composer and performer of the classical guitar, and helping to promote the education of young artists and composers.
