Community shows up in many ways. For the 4th year in a row, Beth El Temple and Unitarian Universalist Church have come together to handcraft Welcome Blankets for our refugee clients.

Each blanket is more than just a gift, its proof that small acts of kindness create lasting impact.

Welcome Blanket is a national initiative that brings communities together through handmade blankets and personal notes of welcome for newly arrived refugees. We are so grateful to have partners who show up for our clients year after year. Learn more at welcomeblanket.org

One backpack. One mentor. One step closer to a brighter future. Our Refugee Youth Mentoring Program mentees each received a fully loaded backpack across our Boston and Worcester locations, because every young person deserves to feel supported!

This is a new program we are implementing to support young refugees ages 15-24 through the transition from youth to adulthood, supporting them in building life skills, navigate higher education, and explore other career pathways. We are so excited to see this program grow!

A huge thank you to , , and , Duolingo supplied the bags and BU and Babson filled and sent them to our teams. We couldn’t have done this without you!
