🚐 Next up: Mobile Services!

One of the most exciting chapters in Dress for Success Boston's 25-year journey has been the launch of our Mobile Services Program.

After receiving funding to bring our services on the road, our team built this program from the ground up—creating a new way to meet women where they are and remove barriers to accessing our services.

The impact has been incredible. Our mobile unit allows us to serve up to 10 times more clients off-site in a single day than we can in our boutique.

And here's a fun fact...

Earlier this year, our mobile unit faced unexpected repair challenges. Instead of slowing down, our team got creative, adapted, and kept the mission moving forward.
💜 In just three months, we've dressed 300 women through our mobile services alone. That's what commitment looks like. That's what resilience looks like.

That's what it means to meet women where they are.

To our staff, volunteers, partners, and supporters—thank you for helping us continue to expand our reach and empower more women every single day.

The wheels may pause, but the mission never does. 💜

When the world shut down in 2020, Dress for Success Boston didn't. 💜

Instead, we reimagined how we could continue serving women by launching our Virtual Suiting Program—ensuring that clients and frontline workers still had access to professional attire and personalized styling when they needed it most.

Five years later, our Virtual Suiting Program has empowered more than 800 clients—and we're just getting started.

This program is possible because of our incredible virtual volunteers, who continue to create meaningful, one-on-one experiences from wherever they are, helping women who can't make it to our boutique feel seen, supported, and confident.

To every volunteer who has shared your time, compassion, and expertise through a screen—thank you. Your impact reaches far beyond the virtual appointment.

✨ Confidence Day at Brockton High School was one for the books! ✨

Together with Brockton High School, we hosted our biggest Confidence Day yet—and the impact speaks for itself.

💜 199 students attended
👗 179 students received professional clothing
🙌 51 amazing volunteers made it all possible

From mock interviews and beauty tutorials to career resources, line dancing, and confidence-building workshops, students were engaged from start to finish.

Today, Dress for Success Boston proudly celebrates 25 years of empowering women, transforming lives, and building brighter futures.

For 25 years, we've had the privilege of helping nearly 20,000 women take the next step toward economic independence through professional attire, career development, workforce readiness, youth programming, and a community that believes in their potential.

What started as a mission to provide professional clothing has grown into so much more. Today, we empower women and young people through our boutique, Mobile Services, Virtual Suiting, career coaching, Confidence Day, and countless partnerships that strengthen our communities every day.

This milestone belongs to every client who trusted us, every volunteer who gave their time, every donor who believed in our mission, every partner who stood beside us, and every staff member who has poured their heart into this work.

Twenty-five years later, our mission is stronger than ever—and we're just getting started.
