Last night in a village close to Kyiv – a warehouse was struck.

27 were killed, 40 injured and a care home for elderly people and people with disabilities destroyed.

This is only 1 of the 10 areas hit last night.

I hate asking people for money. But I hate telling people in Ukraine “no” a hell of a lot more. 🇺🇦

The video you’re watching is from my trip to Ukraine last December.

I was standing in our warehouse, surrounded by humanitarian aid that had traveled thousands of miles to get there.

Boxes of medical supplies. Equipment. Things somebody donated because they wanted to help.

But here’s the part that gets lost:

Donated doesn’t mean delivered.

Someone still has to pay to move it.

Across the ocean. Through customs. Into the warehouse. Onto trucks. Across Ukraine. Sometimes into places most people would rather be driving AWAY from.

And we’re doing it again.

Our next container of medical humanitarian aid is loaded.

But our bank account needs help.

And I know exactly what happens when the money isn’t there, because lately we’ve been saying no to people we desperately want to help.

We recently had to turn down a request to help provide food and hygiene supplies to 2,500 vulnerable families in Odesa.

Not because we couldn’t figure out how to do it.

Because we couldn’t afford to.

That sucks.

So yes, I’m asking for money.

Give us $5. Give us $25. Give us $100.

Skip one coffee. Skip one DoorDash. Or write us a check that makes me fall off my chair. 😂

I genuinely don’t care how much.

I care that enough of us do something.

Because there is aid sitting here.

There are people waiting there.

And the only thing between the two is getting it there.
