Advocacy in Washington. Action on the ground in Ukraine. 🇺🇦

UAid Direct USA co-founder Rich Comeau joined more than 650 Ukraine advocates in Washington, D.C., for the 9th Ukraine Action Summit.

Together, participants held 459 meetings with members of Congress—and Rich was in the House gallery when one of the Summit’s major legislative priorities passed by a vote of 262–159.

But for Rich, the work doesn’t stop in Washington.

His next stop is Ukraine, where he’ll join our ground team as we receive and distribute our eighth U.S.-sourced container of medical equipment and supplies.

Advocacy matters. So does getting the actual aid where it needs to go.

That takes freight. Customs. Trucks. Fuel. Warehousing. Volunteers. And hundreds of miles of deliveries across Ukraine.

You can help us keep those trucks moving.

Why is help still needed?

Because these photos are taken 1 year apart.

Again, smoke rises over civilian infrastructure as Kyiv is in mourning today for the loss of 2 lives and many more injured.

Donate today to help us keep helping on the ground:

35 photos. More than four years of showing up.

Some of the faces in these photos have been part of UAid Direct since the very beginning—long before there was a 501(c)(3) named UAid Direct USA.

They were already doing the work.

Loading trucks. Driving thousands of miles. Packing warehouses. Fixing what broke. Finding fuel. Moving supplies across borders and across Ukraine. Unloading. Turning around. Doing it again.

Some of these photos are old. Some are newer. Together, they tell a piece of UAid Direct’s history.

The trucks have changed. The warehouses have changed. The needs have changed.

But some of the people haven’t.

They’re still here.

Still volunteering. Still driving. Still figuring out how to get what is needed to where it is needed.

More than four years later, Ukraine still needs help. And UAid Direct is still moving.

Help us keep the trucks on the road and the aid moving.
