Thank you, Joe Ruggiero and all members of the East Boston Italian Heritage Day Parade Committee, for putting on such a wonderful event for our community, continuing the tradition, and honoring Buddy Mangini. We are truly honored and grateful to have been part of this very special day!

A special thank you to Damien Margardo, our amazing DJ and former Club kid, for bringing the energy and fun to our float! We are also grateful to our parents and members who joined us to celebrate, Todisco Towing for their support, to all the participants who marched, and to everyone who came out.

Do you love working with kids and want to make a real difference in their afternoons?

Our Salesian Boys & Girls Club After-School Program is looking for a caring, energetic, and dependable Part-Time Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) Instructor to join our team!

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:00–6:00 PM
Wednesday, 2:30-6:00 PM

Salary: $25.00

Great fit for: Paraprofessionals, college students, educators, and those with experience in youth development, counseling, or related fields.

In this role, you’ll help create a positive, safe, and fun environment where kids can build confidence, strengthen relationships, manage emotions, develop teamwork skills, and become their best selves.

What you’ll do:
• Lead and support our Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) program
• Create fun, engaging activities that help children build social and emotional skills
• Encourage positive relationships, healthy communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution
• Help create a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment where every child feels valued
• Be part of a team that truly cares about the children we serve

We’re looking for someone who:
• Has a background working with children
• Has experience or training in Social Emotional Learning (SEL)
• Is patient, positive, creative, and dependable
• Enjoys making a difference and being a positive role model
