Proud to share a milestone from our Berklee City Music Network partner, The Carolina School of Fine Arts / Escuela de Bellas Artes de Carolina (EBAC) in Carolina, Puerto Rico. EBAC has officially inaugurated SONOLAB, a new Musical Arts Laboratory with direct access to the Berklee PULSE curriculum. This new space will expand learning and creative opportunities for 140+ students, made possible by Municipio de Carolina, Make Music Happen, and the Popular Bank Foundation. We’re grateful for the collective investment in high-quality music education and the young people it serves.

Meet Maria Paz Ayala, an artist from Quito, Ecuador who attended the Berklee Aspire: Five-Week Music Performance Intensive last summer through ’s global partnership with .ec!

Maria shares a glimpse into her creative life and process in Ecuador, including a live recorded performance featuring her original, “Sueños”, a track whose roots took shape during her time at Berklee Aspire’s Five-Week program . ☀️
