The numbers speak for themselves, but behind every statistic is a Boston Public Schools student gaining confidence, skills, and a lifelong advocate.

As Howie, a dedicated BPIE mentor and donor, puts it: "Without an organization like BPIE, students wouldn’t have this great opportunity to bond with mentors who really get to know them—nor would mentors have the opportunity to bond with these awesome BPS kids!"

During the `25-`26 school year, in over 9,500 Boston Partners in Education mentoring sessions, students received more than 10,500 hours of free individualized support from mentors.

As Mike, a dedicated BPIE mentor and donor, puts it: "Believing in tomorrow means investing in education today. Supporting BPIE proves that every hour volunteered and every dollar given sparks a lifetime of possibility."

During the '25–'26 school year, Boston Partners in Education matched 1,081 BPS students from 226 teachers’ classrooms across 56 BPS schools with 299 trained volunteer academic mentors in 356 matches.
