📢 Important Updates: Landlord Incentive Program Changes
Please see the important updates regarding the Landlord Incentive Program outlined below.
As we transition into the new fiscal period, there are critical changes to the incentives covered, as well as a temporary pause on funding distributions.
🛑 Temporary Funding Pause
Incentive payments are temporarily paused and will officially resume on July 1, 2026.
Submissions are still open: Providers may and should continue submitting incentive requests during this time period so they can be queued for processing.
🔄 Updated Program Rules & Covered Incentives
Moving forward, the program has updated what is and isn't covered under the incentive structure. Please review these changes carefully before submitting requests:
What IS Covered:
One Month Sign-On Bonus: Up to one month’s rent.
Tenant-Related Cleaning/Repair Costs: Up to one month’s rent (requires full documentation).
What IS NO LONGER Covered:
❌ Broker Fees
❌ Additional sign-on bonuses

To ensure smooth processing once funding resumes, please keep the following criteria in mind:
Eligibility: Clients must be experiencing homelessness in Boston.
Location: Units may be located anywhere in Massachusetts.
Timeline: Payment processing may take up to 30 days after approval.
Accuracy: Incomplete submissions will delay your processing time. Please double-check all required documentation (especially for cleaning/repair claims) before submitting.
