It has been over a month since Encore Hotel and Casino refused to meet with the hard working people of our communities.

These are the workers who ensure a 5 star luxury experience for all of their guests.

The people who cooks their meals.
Cleans their hotel rooms.
Washes the sheets.
Drives the delivery trucks.
Service their food.
And beyond!

How dare they come to our city and take our labor for granted!

With over 1,000 workers on strike, remember:
𝘿𝙊𝙉'𝙏 𝘾𝙍𝙊𝙎𝙎 𝙏𝙃𝙀 𝙋𝙄𝘾𝙆𝙀𝙏 𝙇𝙄𝙉𝙀‼️

As President Carlos Aramayo of UNITE HERE Local 26 said, One day longer, one day stronger! 💪

Thanks to the many unions who rallied with us:

🪧 Rally & Shine 🌞

Weekday or a weekend
Rain or shine

Governor Maura Healey and Lieutenant Governor Kim Driscoll are always out there fighting for unions and protecting our communities.

From striking nurses fighting for fair wages
To App Drivers Union getting their first contract
To safety for TPS workers
And ensuring PLA for all laborers

The fights never ends, and that's why we need champions, Maura and Kim, voted in again to ensure we can all keep working.

That's why over hundreds of union members across all sectors turned out today! Get your voting plans ready, talk to your members, and get out the vote! 🗳

🇵🇷 𝓗𝓪𝓹𝓹𝔂 𝓗𝓲𝓼𝓹𝓪𝓷𝓲𝓬 𝓗𝓮𝓻𝓲𝓽𝓪𝓰𝓮 𝓜𝓸𝓷𝓽𝓱 🇵🇷

We're continuing the celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month by spotlighting fellow union member Carmen Perez! 🥳

Carmen is a proud member of IAM Union Local 264, also known as the Machinest Union. 🔧

The International Association of Machinest and Aerospace Workers also includes workers from Canada and Puerto Rico! 💪🏾

Carmen has been with IAM for over 14 years, and so has her spouse, son, and daughter! 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Hard working people like Carmen and her family are the reasons why the MBTA runs, commuting thousands of people every single day. 🚞

We love our members from all walks of life!
This is what makes unions strong!
