Chrissy Lynch, president of the Massachusetts AFL-CIO State Fed, said there is a “huge difference” between Minogue and Healey. “MAGA Mike is dumping millions of dollars into misleading voters, making you think that he’s a moderate,” Lynch said to hundreds of people gathered outside of IBEW Local 103 in Dorchester. “The reality is, Mike Minogue is an out-of-touch mega millionaire who loves [President] Trump.”

At our Awards Banquet last night we were honored to recognize State Senator Lydia Edwards and Rep. Marjorie Decker with the Kathy Casavant: Women in Leadership Award.

A proud UAW Region 9A member, Sen. Edwards is an outspoken advocate for labor unions who fights tirelessly to deliver for working people in Massachusetts.

Throughout her entire career Rep. Decker has shown a steadfast commitment to public service and has always advocated for more strong, union jobs.

Finally, we were also proud to honor Ken Casey from the Dropkick Murphys (and a former LIUNA laborer!). Ken has spent a lifetime centering working people in his music and art, and for standing up for the working class time and again.
