Last Week: We witnessed the 60th Independence Day celebrations of the Co-operative Republic of Guyana! 🇬🇾

Remarks by President Dr. Irfaan Ali were delivered by Mr. Richard H. Lammy, one of our 2025 Commonwealth’s Caribbean Breakfast awardees, who has been doing decades of tireless work for the Guyanese and Caribbean community, here in Massachusetts.

We were also delighted with the sound of , Mr. “Guyanese Baboo” himself! What a pleasure, as the music, joy and laughter of the Guyanese community filled City Hall Plaza.

We would touch on the food, but we do not want any Chicken Curry/Curry Chicken wars 😂. Just know, that the sampling of foods provided: from Pone, Sugar Cake, Pholourie to Boiled Channa and everything in between, was delicious 🤤!

“Geographically South American, culturally and politically Caribbean” - Happy 60th, once again Guyana 🇬🇾, a founding member of CARICOM!

Hosted in 2 parts, by and the Guyanese community ❤️
