Home to the residents of East Boston for 100+ years and proud to offer programming for all ages. Join our joyful community – because when all give, all gain.

For over a century, our programs and services have welcomed neighbors of all ages, interests and backgrounds through our doors. Each year, we provide direct programming for 3,000+ children, teens, and adults in East Boston, with an additional 30,000+ people benefiting from our meeting spaces and community events. Over one hundred years of history and generations of families have helped make the Social Centers what we are today—a place to grow, learn, and connect.

💙 The Eastie Social: A celebration of community, connection, and joy!

On October 1, our neighborhood spent an evening on the water, on the dock, and in the tent, and it was everything the name promised! From magic shows and face painting to family activities and community showcases, the evening was filled with joy.

We were also proud to honor The Hestia Fund and the Friends of East Boston Circle, whose thoughtful, sustained philanthropy has helped shape East Boston for years. Thank you for your continued stewardship of our neighborhood and the children, families, and residents who call it home.

❤️ Support Neighbors Displaced by the 90 Lexington St. Fire

On September 29, 2026, a fire on Lexington St. displaced 13 people in our East Boston community.

Right now, we aren’t asking for material donations. We’re focused on raising funds to provide families with help, dignity, and support as they navigate this tragedy.

If you’re able to give, any amount can make a difference. Whether it’s $10, $25, $50, or whatever you can spare, your support helps our neighbors know they are not facing this alone.

This Thursday, October 1st, the Social Centers takes the afternoon to the waterfront. The Eastie Social has two halves: a free Family Celebration on the dock for the whole neighborhood, and the ticketed Reception & Honors in the tent, honoring the The Hestia Fund and the Friends of East Boston Circle for the quiet, sustained philanthropy they have directed into this neighborhood for years.

Individual tickets, tables of 10, and the Waterfront Lounge are available, with a reception-style buffet included. What is raised on October 1st goes straight into programs that supported more than 1,100 neighbors and more than 700 families in FY25, and it is what keeps the celebration on the dock free for every neighbor.
