For over a century, our programs and services have welcomed neighbors of all ages, interests and backgrounds through our doors. Each year, we provide direct programming for 3,000+ children, teens, and adults in East Boston, with an additional 30,000+ people benefiting from our meeting spaces and community events. Over one hundred years of history and generations of families have helped make the Social Centers what we are today—a place to grow, learn, and connect.

Looking for a quality preschool? We have openings! 💛

Our preschool classrooms have room for children ages 2.9 to 5. Nutritional meals, transportation, a standardized curriculum, and classrooms where children learn through play.

We welcome families from East Boston, Chelsea, Revere, and Winthrop.

Our Active Adults are getting ready for one of their favorite days of the year! Join us at Piers Park on Friday, September 11 for a day filled with friendship, fun, and all the activities our seniors love most, including a Corn Hole Tournament, Qi Gong, dancing with DJ Tommy Bahama, Bingo, lunch, raffles, and more! 🎶🌳

It’s always a special day to come together, make memories, and celebrate our incredible Active Adults. We can’t wait to see you there! 💛

Today, we’re proud to launch our Round Up for East Boston campaign in support of Eastie Social 2026, the annual fundraiser benefiting East Boston Social Centers

From now through September 27, every time you visit Bono, you can simply round up your purchase. Your small contribution will help support programs for children, families, and older adults right here in East Boston.

Five years of showing up for our youngest neighbors. 💛

On July 23, more than 90 educators, providers, families, and partners came together for our Every Child Shines Community Convening, all working toward one thing: every child in East Boston starting kindergarten joyful, thriving, and ready to learn. This summer, 11 young people from East Boston are earning a paycheck and helping the next generation of Eastie kids grow! 🌻

That's thanks to Massachusetts Port Authority, our neighbor and a longtime partner of the Social Centers. Their $30,800 investment funds 11 summer youth jobs this year, teens who spend their summer supporting our out-of-school-time and summer programs, working alongside staff and helping younger kids learn, play, and thrive.

The Family Celebration is free and open to all of East Boston. Program showcases, local music, food from neighborhood restaurants, and family activities along the harbor.

Our Thriving Teens spent the day exploring Boston University, getting a firsthand look at campus life!

Experiences like these help our teens picture themselves on a college campus, ask meaningful questions, and imagine what's possible for their future. We're so proud to provide opportunities that inspire confidence, expand horizons, and make higher education feel within reach. 💛
