IAM Local 264 Boston We fight for rights, equity, and representation in both the workplace and our communities!

Local 264 Boston is a labor union representing Machinists in and around the Boston area. The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAMAW) and Local 264 have been fighting for workers and their families for over 120 years. The IAMAW represents workers in every industry, Local 264 is a union where the members ARE the union.

This is one of the many places the IAM supports, through donations, raffles and other charity events every year. Guide dogs help more than just the blind and visually impaired. Talk to anyone that has added one of these dogs into their family and you’ll see how their lives have been changed and in some cases even been given back to them. Take a minute to look into how these dogs have helped the lives of thousands of people already and will continue to do so into the future with help from union members like you.

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of retiree Jon Ch*****ne. Jon was a long time employee with the MBTA and will be dearly missed. His family is having a Celebration of Life on Saturday, August 29th in Wakefield, NH. If you would like to attend, please RSVP through the link below. RIP Jon. Your strength and wit are thought of often here.
