Our student alumni, Chris Russi and Michelle P**n, wrote about their experience in helping us select this year's Learn.Lead.Give. scholar:

"Albeit only a semester, the experience was enormously influential in shaping and challenging our outlook on social giving, inspiring us to continue to remain active and thoughtful contributors in the nonprofit sector to this day.

As former LxG students ourselves, we were even more pleased when we discovered that the organization was planning on actively backing this next-generation as they continued their pursuit of giving in the form of a full scholarship to attend a local university that teaches LxG."

In 2019, Doris Buffett launched the Learn.Lead.Give. Scholarship, in partnership with the Learning by Giving Foundation. This scholarship aims to cultivate a new generation of philanthropists who are not only leaders inside the classroom, but leaders in their community as well. Each year, this schol...

A few weeks ago, we shared our public statement against racism and injustice. We committed to using our platform to amplify the voices of our students of color who are driving social change by addressing racial justice and inequality.

Today, we share the first in a series of blog posts written by one of our student alumni. Steven Swann recently completed our course at Georgetown University and also served as the Racial Equity Manager at Bread for the City in Washington, DC.

Please click on the link below to read Steven’s insightful piece on how organizations can help drive racial equity.
