The Nonprofit Spotlight is on Mission Of Deeds, a volunteer supported organization that provides new beds and gently used furniture, kitchen items, and basic household goods free of charge to individuals and families leaving homelessness and others finding themselves in need. With dignity and respect, MOD works with families in 88 towns and cities in Middlesex and Essex Counties. Volunteers pick up furniture donations free of charge in 11 towns surrounding Reading. Summer Fund's grant process is officially open! The Letter of Intent is open for submissions until Friday, February 2nd!

The form can be found at the link below and should take no more than 10-15 minutes to complete. The Summer Fund is a great funding opportunity for organizations operating summer programming that serves youth from Boston, Cambridge, Chelsea, and/or Somerville.

Make sure to visit https://lnkd.in/eHx-x5UW to confirm your program's eligibility before filling out a Letter of Intent, though programs that do not meet all of the criteria are still invited to submit a form. Please contact Jaidyn at [email protected] with any questions.
