Last night, we joined CHAPA's 59th Annual Dinner as they honored Renee Spencer, MLRI Board Member, with the Changemaker Award!

Renee has served on MLRI's Board of Trustees since 2022. A public housing tenant in Wellesley, she is a member of Mass Union of Public Housing Tenants, and also serves as a Resident Board Member on the Wellesley Housing Authority Board, a Town Meeting Member, a board member of Wellesley Friendly Aid, and a member of the League of Women Voters. This week, we celebrated Charlotte Graf, our Executive Support & Organizational Development Manager, whose last day at MLRI is today. Charlotte has been at the heart of our day-to-day operations and a trusted partner to the executive team. Charlotte’s impact at MLRI goes far beyond her role, and she will be deeply missed by colleagues across the organization.

Charlotte will be taking the summer to recharge before heading to Northeastern Law School this fall as a Public Interest Law Scholar, an exciting next chapter that reflects her deep commitment to justice.

Thank you, Charlotte, for everything you’ve done for MLRI. We can’t wait to see all that you accomplish next!
