Boston Waterfront 5K TMF was founded to help patients and families living with neurological diseases.

The Boston Waterfront 5K is an annual fundraising event scheduled for June 15, 2025, supporting the McCourt Foundation's mission to cure neurological diseases while empowering communities to build a healthier world. Over the past few years, the foundation has expanded its mission to Neurology and Beyond, by supporting other Boston based nonprofits with charters focused on health, education, and financial assistance.

One year after suffering a stroke at the 2024 Boston Waterfront 5K, Boston Police Officer Jack Hynes returned to walk the final 100 yards, surrounded by his family, friends, and an incredible Team Jack crew.

💥 Meet Mike Signorelli - a true force of resilience. Diagnosed with MS just two years ago, Mike made a powerful choice: to fight back and run forward. As part of the McCourt Foundation’s Boston Marathon Team, he’s now crossed two Boston Marathon finish lines, including this year’s 2025 race.

Each step Mike takes is a statement of strength, raising awareness and funds to support those living with MS and other neurological diseases. His journey reminds us that determination and community can take us farther than we ever imagined.
