Boston Waterfront 5K

Boston Waterfront 5K TMF was founded to help patients and families living with neurological diseases.

The Boston Waterfront 5K is an annual fundraising event scheduled for September 12, 2026, supporting the McCourt Foundation's mission to cure neurological diseases while empowering communities to build a healthier world. Over the past few years, the foundation has expanded its mission to Neurology and Beyond, by supporting other Boston based nonprofits with charters focused on health, education, and financial assistance.

The Boston Waterfront 5K returns September 12 with a completely new course through the Seaport. You'll still start and finish at Leader Bank Pavilion, but this year's route gives you a fresh look at one of the most scenic stretches of waterfront in the city.

Save the date: Saturday, September 12, 2026 🗓️

The Boston Waterfront 5K returns for another morning along the harbor, starting and finishing at Leader Bank Pavilion, one of the most iconic waterfront venues in the city. Thousands of runners and walkers moving with purpose. And a finish line that opens right into the Pavilion for one of the best post-race celebrations in Boston.

This year brings a new route, with the same start and finish you know, and a refreshed waterfront experience in between.

We're back! Registration is officially open for the 2026 Boston Waterfront 5K.

Sunday, September 12. Leader Bank Pavilion. A brand new course along one of the most beautiful stretches of the Boston waterfront, and the best post-race party on the 5K circuit waiting for you at the finish.

Here's the move: the first 250 to register lock in our lowest price of the year. After that, prices climb. So grab a friend, grab your spot, and we'll see you at the Pavilion in September.
