What a fantastic day of service with our partners at Advent last week at the Frederick School! 🎨📚

Volunteers rolled up their sleeves to brighten school hallways with fresh paint, create a vibrant new mural, and assemble teacher kits filled with resources to support educators throughout the next school year. Their hard work and dedication will help foster an engaging learning environment for students and provide meaningful support to the teachers who make a difference every day.

Looking back on last week's incredible day of service with our partners at Public Consulting Group (PCG) at the Maurice J. Tobin School! 🎨🌱📦

From refreshing the teachers’ lounge with a new coat of paint to assembling graduation kits for students and restoring the school’s outdoor garden area, volunteers brought tremendous energy and care to every project. These efforts will help create a more welcoming and supportive environment for both students and educators alike.

Thank you for showing up and showing out for City Year Greater Boston. Because of this extraordinary community, the Cyclorama was filled with joy, purpose, and unwavering support for students and schools across Greater Boston.

Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we exceeded our fundraising goal and raised more than $535,000 to ensure CYGB can continue providing tutoring, mentoring, afterschool programming, and support services to more than 10,000 students.

Thank you to our long-time sponsor, Johnson & Johnson MedTech, for inviting our AmeriCorps members serving at the Boston Green Academy to be a part of Take Your Child to Work Day 💼📝

The team got a behind the scenes look at J&J's office, met a ton of amazing kids, led a service activity, and got to participate in 7 other hands-on rotations - from robotic surgery to mechanical tests to smoothie creation. We're also very grateful for the donation of 330 MCAS Goodie Bags, 160 stuffed animals and tons of snacks for our students at the Boston Green Academy and English High School ✏️

Thank you to the more than 20 volunteers from National Grid who joined us last week at the Boys and Girls Club of Dorchester! Together, we painted a new mural spanning the entirety of the gym, mulched outdoor spaces to get them ready for spring and packed 300 kits to support the Club's summer programming 🌞

Last week, we had an incredible day of service with our PTC partners at the Frederick School! 🎨📦

From transforming hallways and the cafeteria with vibrant murals to assembling and packing resource kits filled with essential supplies, volunteers brought energy and dedication to every project. These efforts will help create a more welcoming, inspiring environment for students while ensuring they have the tools they need to succeed 📝
