No Gathering at the Mel King School today.

The Garden Church is more than a gathering; We're a community learning to love like Jesus in the everyday moments and places of our lives.

Today, we put hands and feet to that in projects across the city to declare that Boston is Beloved. 🧤🥾🌱

Real freedom isn’t the absence of commitment — it’s having people who know you deeply, tell you the truth, carry your burdens, and stay when life gets hard.

Many of us have spent our lives pursuing independence and the ability to live on our own terms. But somewhere along the way, we traded committed relationships for convenient ones. We gained more autonomy, but we feel more isolated than ever.

The Garden Church is a place to belong

Loneliness isn’t always the absence of people — it’s often the absence of being truly known.

Joe talks about how his small group has created space to share burdens, ask honest questions, pray for one another, and build the kind of relationships that remind us we were never meant to follow Jesus alone.

Most groups meet on Tues and Wed nights. Find one near you at the link in our bio. 📍

“The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” – Ps 34:18

The church can’t always remove grief, but it can reflect the nearness of the God who never leaves us in it. 🤍

Spiritual disciplines are not about earning God’s love or power — they’re about positioning ourselves to remember God’s love and power when we need them most.
