April was a meaningful and high impact month for CFA Society Boston, centered around Financial Literacy Month and a shared commitment to expanding access to financial education.
A key highlight was the inaugural Financial Literacy Leadership Summit, which brought together industry leaders, educators, and community partners for thoughtful discussions on strengthening financial capability and reaching underserved communities. The energy and engagement throughout the Summit reflected a strong and growing commitment to this important work. Throughout the month, we continued to deliver impactful programming across education and professional development, including sessions on private markets, mentorship, and the CFA Program, alongside opportunities for networking and member connection.
As part of our growing University Partner Program Initiative, we also deepened our engagement with students across the Greater Boston area. We were excited to welcome UMass Boston as a new University Partner, meeting with finance and business students on campus to share insights on the CFA Program and the path to becoming a charterholder, while highlighting opportunities to get involved early through membership and networking. In addition, we hosted a virtual webinar, bringing together students from across the region for an informative overview of the CFA Program and how it can shape their career paths, continuing our focus on reaching students early when it matters most.
From volunteer driven financial literacy efforts to dynamic educational programs, April showcased the power of community, collaboration, and purpose. Thank you to our speakers, volunteers, partners, and members for making this month both impactful and inspiring.
