On July 18th the Camp Hale community gathered to celebrate the launch of our Camp Hale Forever Campaign — a comprehensive effort to preserve Camp Hale's legacy while ensuring it has the resources to serve children for generations to come.
Alums, families, neighbors, and friends spent the afternoon connecting over lunch from Squam Lake MarketPlace and reflecting on what Camp Hale has meant in their lives. A special thank you to a few individuals who shared wonderful remarks and stories about the community, impact, and specialness Camp Hale holds: USES CEO Jerrell Cox, former counselor Eliza Dushku-Palandjian, former camper Judge Gajarsa, and camp staff Xavier, Wisdom, and Oscar.
Over the next five years, the campaign will raise $12 million to sustain and strengthen Camp Hale's future. And right now - a generous longtime donor and friend announced a $2 million matching gift, challenging our community to raise an additional $2 million over the next two months! This matching opportunity gives us the chance to generate $4 million for the Camp Hale Forever Campaign and accelerate our vision to preserve Camp Hale.
