🚨 Due to the pending Nor’easter, we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel Saturday’s Colin’s Joy Project 5K Run/Walk and kids’ fun runs. 😞

But the breakfast party is on! Come on down to South Boston Catholic Academy on Saturday, September 26, anytime from 9 AM to noon. Grab bagels and coffee from Deja Brew and shop some sweet deals on new Colin’s Joy Project merch.

Registered for the 5K or a kids’ race? Your Running for Joy race shirt is yours to pick up - free for all registered runners, including kids.

We want to share a huge thanks to all who signed up and all of our sponsors. We’re sad to miss the race course this year, but we’d love to see your faces on Saturday. 💚🧡

We are 5 days out of our and we wouldn’t have been able to pull this off without our amazing sponsors! CALLING ALL KIDS!!!

Kids of all ages can join Colin’s Fundraising Crew and register to be a fundraiser for any of our races (fun runs or 5K). Prizes start at $50 raised and NO minimums for fundraising.
• Raise $50 - CJP t-shirt
• Raise $100 - CJP t-shirt and hat
• Raise $150 - CJP t-shirt, hat and water bottle
• Raise $200 - CJP t-shirt, hat, water bottle and sweatshirt
When you register, Select “Become a Fundraiser” after entering your info on the main page. Already registered and want to be a fundraiser? DM us or email us at [email protected] and we will help you get set up!

*FINE PRINT - kids can choose from our available merchandise options at bib pickup. Options are first come, first served. Not all items will be available in every size.

Come join us for our annual 5K run/walk race on Saturday, September 26th! All ages welcome! We kick off our day at 815am with U9 100m dash, followed by 14U 1/5mi run, and the main event at 9am run/walk. Free t-shirt goes to the first 250 race participants. Sign up today! Link in our bio!

It’s Giving Week! Boston Medical Center’s Child Life team were a gift to the McGrath family at their darkest hours.
As the first anniversary of the accident approached, the McGrath’s knew they needed to do and feel anything positive during that time. From there, this annual Colin’s Joy Project Giving Week emerged.
The McGrath Family works each year with BMC’s Child Life team to share an Amazon wish list to support the work of their program. This giving week provides materials that can help support other families in their time of need.
As the 8th anniversary of the accident approaches, please consider donating an item to honor the work of these wonderful people, Colin’s memory, and Sloane’s journey. Items donated will allow their team to bring smiles to the faces of scared children and help ease their fears when they are in the hospital.
For shipping, please use the wishlist Delivery Address of Boston Medical Center. For those who have donated before and had trouble with this, we updated the address so there shouldn’t be issues this year! Link is in our bio!

Hello all! We are once again launching our annual Mother’s Day to Father’s Day drive in honor of our partnership with MGBfC’s Pediatric Bereavement Program. Please see the link in our bio for our Amazon wishlist which will provide supplies to their program. These supplies are vital in supporting families who have recently lost a child and were cared for at Mass General Brigham. As always, thank you for supporting Colin’s Joy Project and our mission of supporting families during hard times in hopes of spreading joy in his name.
