What a great night! Many thanks to our fellow Kiwanians and guest speaker Walter Yourawski. Walter, who is a member of our club, talked about his entrepreneurial journey, which started at age 11 when he discovered he had the drive and opportunity to succeed. He spoke about growing up Revere, in a family where both parents worked to provide for his family, which inspired him to do his best.

Walter started from scratch and created a community business - from selling out of a briefcase to establishing East Boston Diamond and Gold. He struck a chord with his audience as he emphasized the need to create or expand opportunities, give it your all, and finally, give back to the community that helped you succeed. We are grateful to Walter for sharing his wit and wisdom!

Thank you to the following Kiwanis clubs that attended this Interclub: Malden, Medford, Somerville, Chelsea, Everett, and of course, our own mighty East Boston members!

If you know Walter Yourawski, you know someone who is dedicated to his community. Come out and support this man as he serves as our guest speaker. All proceeds from the dinner are given back to the community through the activities of the Kiwanis Club of East Boston.
