Did you know that approximately 10 people drown every day in the United States? Even more alarming, 70% of African American children and 60% of Hispanic children do not know how to swim, and African American children are three times more likely to drown than their white peers.

Through Swim 1922, Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated, in partnership with USA Swimming, is working to change those statistics by increasing access to swim education, water safety resources, and community awareness. 💙💛

Being an organization founded by seven educators, Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. has always been committed to advancing education and uplifting communities.

Through our mission to enhance the quality of life for women and their families via community service, civic engagement, and social action, we continue to drive progress in education, health awareness, and leadership development.
