Human trafficking and commercial s*xual exploitation are not distant issues. They affect real people, real communities, and often involve layers of coercion, instability, and harm that are not always visible from the outside.

A compassionate response starts with understanding. People who have experienced trafficking need more than awareness, they need safety, support, and space to heal without judgment. At Amirah, that means refuge, healing in community, housing stability, and long-term hope as they work toward independence.
