Boston Education Collaborative Raising up urban leaders through educational opportunities

Churches, schools, and nonprofits are seeking to motivate and support underserved urban students to gain the skills they need to become successful, responsible individuals who have a positive impact on the city. Building upon educational research and needs assessments, the Boston Education Collaborative (BEC), a program of Emmanuel Gospel Center, supports these urban churches and organizations in

strengthening their existing programs, starting new initiatives, evaluating the short- and long-term impact of their programs, coordinating learning groups, and organizing trainings.

One of the best days of the year at is their annual Giving Thanks luncheon. What a beautiful, joyous occasion to see all their staff and students volunteering, hanging out with each other, dancing to music. And so many family members and community members contributed food and volunteered. Including BEC’s church partner and BPS partner . What a great day as a community! Well done !
