The Chapter 146 Association is an association built, operated and funded by Massachusetts Licensed Stationary Firemen and Engineers. Throughout the years we have successfully opposed several pieces of Legislation that would have compromised Public Safety in Massachusetts. The only individuals that would have benefited from the opposed legislation were Big Business and the Massachusetts Legislators who supported these bills. The Chapter 146 Association networks with affiliated trades, unions, labor organizations, safety groups and other associations to coordinate our efforts to either support or oppose legislation. We are a diverse and inclusive association of like minded professionals that want to ensure that the citizens of the Commonwealth are protected from the inherit dangers of Steam Boilers and Power Plants. Did you know almost every building in the Commonwealth has a Heating Boiler in it? Schools, Day Care Facilities, Hospitals, Industrial Buildings, Commercial Buildings, High Rises, State Buildings, Nursing Homes, Fire Stations, Police Stations, Private Residences, etc. and without proper registration, installation, maintenance, oversight and enforcement of these dangerous pieces of equipment comes potentially devastating consequences. Join our cause to help us defend Firemen, Engineer's, District Engineering Inspectors, the Department of Public Safety, our Department of Public Safety licenses and most importantly the citizens of the Commonwealth’s Public Safety. We understand that safety comes at a cost but, can we honestly put a price on you, your family, our children and the general public's safety? The Chapter 146 Association cannot and will not allow businesses and state law makers that represent their interests put a price on our safety!
