TLE Center for Urban Entrepreneurship We help Massachusetts based beauty entrepreneurs launch and grow their businesses.

The TLE Center for Urban Entrepreneurship (TLECFUE) was founded in 2015 by Tricia D. Young of TLE Consulting Group as an extension of TLE Consulting Group and their work in supporting the small business ecosystem of Massachusetts. Our organization aims to continuously build and cultivate a resource-rich space for micro entrepreneurs operating solo or with a few employees to grow a bankable busines

s. When we launched in 2015, our primary focus was to provide support for those with the greatest barriers to the resources to develop a business. Many of these individuals were from communities that were historically excluded from business: people of color, previously incarcerated, and LBGTQ. Since then, we have expanded our footprint and scope of services to support all micro enterprises at all stages in cities across Massachusetts where we are seeing that all micro entrepreneurs are underresourced and in need of the services and resources we provide. We at TLECFUE fervently believe that all micro entrepreneurs should have full and equal access to the tools they need to not only solve problems via entrepreneurship, but also the opportunity to create generational wealth for themselves along the way.

As part of TLE Consulting Group 's Skills to Capital Training Series, which focused on technical skills, business development, and building business confidence for beauty entrepreneurs, participants explored strategies to strengthen business growth through pricing, revenue generation, profitability, capital readiness, and funding preparation.

This component of the training series was facilitated by Revby and provided participants with practical insights and tools to help strengthen their businesses, improve financial readiness, and prepare for future growth opportunities.

The Skills to Capital Training Series was delivered in partnership with TLECFUE , MassDevelopment M&T Bank Bank, and the City of Boston Boston.
