As part of the inaugural Berklee City Music META
Fellowship, Terry Borderline and Helder Tsinine collaborated to present their capstone project, Children of The World. This project centered on facilitating an international, intergenerational music collaboration featuring TCP youth, students from the William E. Russell Elementary School, and artists from Mozambique, with the fellows serving as educators, mentors, and arts administrators.

Children of The World is a collaborative musical initiative that brings together youth across age groups, languages, and continents to create an original work centered on unity, creativity, and global connection. The project culminated in the creation of a six-minute youth-driven song — written, produced, arranged, and partially recorded by the students themselves — demonstrating the transformative power of collaboration in music education.

S/O to & for your partnership and for providing the space for our youths to create this collaborative project.

💚

Our youth created this collection of affirmations to offer encouragement, reflection, and reminders to give yourself grace through both the highs and lows.

These words serve as reminders that growth isn't always linear, and that it's okay to give yourself patience, care, and compassion through every season of life. No matter where you are in your journey, your mental health matters.

Titled "Sun-Kissed Glow," this poem reflects the beauty of being a young Black woman, while naming the misconceptions she continues to face with honesty and strength.
