REMINDER: Our meeting location tomorrow (Monday) night will be the café in the main building. If you plan on bringing fish to the meeting, they must be bagged in a sealed container, and cannot be taken out of the bag inside the building (e.g. it's okay to bring fish in a tied bag, but please do not bring fish in a bucket or jar). This requirement is in place for meetings held in the café due to aquarium’s quarantine policy.

The Boston Aquarium Society is sad to announce that a long time member, Robert "Bob" Jango, has passed away on Tuesday October 28th.

Bob was passionate about fish and learning new things about keepin them, their natural habitats in nature, as well as tips and tricks for home fishkeeping. He was te eccentric meeting attendee who always had good insightful questions for the presenters at our monthly meetings. Bob was also a former director at large on the BAS board of directors.

For those who knew him and wish to pay their respects, the funeral Mass will be at 10AM on Thursday November 13th at St Mary's of the Assumption at 420 High st in Dedham, followed by a funeral at Brookdale Cemetary across the street. Bob's mother invites his friends and family to their house at 15 Harmony Hill in Dedham afterward.
