Here are a few glimpses from our debut recital at the Goethe-Institut Boston, presented by Fermata Chamber Soloists, where we performed works by Debussy and Mendelssohn to a full house.

Our Mission

Founded in 2018 by Thomas Cooper and Nicholas Stewart, Fermata is a Boston-based, nonprofit concertizing organization that exists to change the culture of classical music by reinventing the live concert experience.

We center our programming around the chamber music repertoire, drawing on a pool of young talent graduating from top music schools such as New England Conservatory, the Juilliard School, Oberlin Conservatory, the Curtis Institute of Music, and the Eastman School of Music.

By presenting experiential events that focus on re-defining what classical music can be, while still retaining the highest level of artistry, our concerts are unique, fun, intense and informal.
