Thank you to The Coolidge (Coolidge Corner Theatre) and Aya El Abdallah (Aya El Abdallah) for bringing Lana Daher's Do You Love Me (Do You Love Me) to Boston!

The film is a beautiful journey and homage to Beriut and the people of Lebanon. Grateful to have our Programming Director, Michael Maria (Michael Maria) as part of the Panorama panel alongside Boston Little Syria Project Co-Founder, Dr. Lydia Harrington, to discuss archival art, fragmented histories, memory as resistance, and how these works are felt and interpreted across borders and generations.

Do You Love Me is a personal journey through Lebanon's audiovisual memory, composed entirely of archival footage. It is a love letter to Beirut, spanning 70 years of film, TV, home videos, and photography, exploring the Lebanese collective psyche marked by joy and intimacy, destruction and loss.
