So very grateful for the volunteers and board members that step in when we need help! I had an appointment and with construction uber is a challenge. Tuesday tenders delivered today by Josie, taking time during her work break to make sure our families could enjoy lunch. We can’t thank our volunteers enough that step up to help with in any capacity!

We are so grateful for our partner organization for the help today. Dillon stepped up to halp deliver our Tuesday tenders. With the new construction it’s a challenge to get our meals delivered but that will not stop us of getting to the families, since I was out of town Dillon delivered and reached the nurses. Thank you so much ambassadors, team work makes the dream work!

This is amazing news and a huge announcement for osteosarcoma and Ewing sarcoma patients!!!!

This Is BIG: The BCC023 Trial using DFMO for Ewing Sarcoma and Osteosarcoma is NOW ENROLLING!!!!

What This Is: DFMO (Eflornithine) for Ewing Sarcoma and Osteosarcoma

What This Means: Ewing sarcoma and osteosarcoma primarily affect adolescents and young adults. Common treatments include chemotherapy, surgery and radiation. There have been no real advancements to the standard of care in decades. By incorporating DFMO (eflornithine) as an additional therapy and/or maintenance therapy, our team of experts believe to observe improved event-free survival and overall survival.

Why This Matters: With little to no change to treatment protocol since the standards of care were developed, this trial provides an additional, less-toxic form of therapy for children battling these pediatric sarcomas. DFMO has been shown to successfully prevent relapse in neuroblastoma and laboratory research indicates the same results may be seen in sarcomas. This trial represents hope for countless children and families.

🍕 Happy National Pizza Party Day 😅

Shoutout to our friends at Jet's Pizza for helping us keep families fed during some really hard days. Hospital life is a lot… and not having to think about what’s for dinner matters more than people realize ❤️

Through our Finn’s Food program, we help provide meals for families navigating pediatric cancer treatment because sometimes support looks like pizza after a long day at the hospital.

Thanks for being part of this with us and loving our families well. Go eat some pizza today - even better if it's local from Jets! 🍕😂

Today marks international bereaved Mother’s Day, international Bereaved Mother’s Day is a day of remembrance and support for mothers who have lost a child, and it is observed on the first Sunday of May each year. This day acknowledges the profound grief of losing a child, no matter the circumstances. We at Finn’s fighters send our love to our community worldwide today, and everyday.

A wonderful day supporting at their 10th anniversary fishing tournament. As per usual I took very few photos but just enjoyed the day and celebrated with and on another amazing event ! I felt Finn’s connection meeting a young adult lymphoma survivor who worked at the resort and got to FaceTime with her mom to share about our connection and give her a hug for her. Such a beautiful day!

Each year a family opens themselves up, their hearts and their story to help Finn Fighters share our mission and how we help. We are so grateful to the Little family sharing Calvin’s journey and how Finns Fighters has helped topped our evening. We were so grateful for Chuck’s amazing words and Calvin‘s “go bolts” as we all cheer on our home team during playoffs. Please take a moment if you weren’t able to join us on Friday and watch the Little family and their story. Calvin is an Finnspiration is currently working on his new his new prosthesis and we cheer him on just like we cheer on our bolts again thank you so much to the Little family.

Wow I had no idea we created our page the same day we got our 501c4!! So many celebrations today and or our 7 year anniversary and thank you all who celebrated near and far with us last night at our amazing gal!! Celebrating my 7th year on Facebook.
