Massachusetts Fallen Heroes is honored to partner with the Tunnels to Towers Foundation to host Steel Across America, a nationwide campaign bringing an authentic steel beam from the World Trade Center and 9/11 Never Forget Mobile Exhibit to the Massachusetts Fallen Heroes Memorial on September 3, 2026.

This powerful piece of history will serve as a lasting tribute to the lives lost on September 11, 2001, creating meaningful moments of reflection for those who lived through that day and providing an opportunity for younger generations to learn, remember, and carry forward the stories of courage, sacrifice, and resilience.

Join us tomorrow, Monday, July 13th, 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Massachusetts Fallen Heroes Memorial in the Seaport District, Boston, as we honor our fallen heroes during America 250 and Sail Boston celebrations.

In partnership with the Sail Boston, The United States Marine Corps, the USMC Silent Drill Platoon and the 2nd Marine Division Band will perform during a special wreath-laying ceremony.

We will lay two commemorative wreaths with brief remarks to pay tribute to the sacrifice of our post-9/11 fallen service members and Gold Star families.

All are welcome!
👉 We strongly encourage using public transportation (the memorial is a short walk from the Silver Line and within easy reach of the waterfront).
👉 While you’re enjoying the Tall Ships and Sail Boston festivities, please stop by the memorial to reflect, pay your respects, and experience this powerful moment of remembrance.

This is a free, public event — bring your family, friends, and fellow patriots to stand with us in gratitude.

Lee is running the Boston Marathon for Mass Fallen Heroes, because their sacrifices shaped the freedom so many take for granted. Supporting veterans is deeply personal to her, inspired by her grandfather’s service and the lasting impact she’s seen war leave behind.

Every mile she trains is driven by purpose: to honor the fallen, carry on her grandfather’s legacy, and stand beside veterans who still carry the weight of their service.

For Lee, this race is more than a challenge, it’s her way of saying their sacrifice will never be forgotten.
