Still Running: An Art Marathon for Boston Since then, our project has grown into an ongoing series of free community art-making events where all are invited to come make art with us and heal together.

This is a new cause dedicated to boosting the morale of the greater Boston community, raising funds to support organizations aiding the parties involved in the tragedy at The Boston Marathon, and providing original artwork as gifts to local heroes. Still Running: An Art Marathon for Boston is a greater Boston community art project originally started in response to the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing,

with the goal of doing something to help the city heal and giving gifts of artwork to those directly involved. From there, the artwork made at our events and donated to our cause goes into a series of community art exhibitions and will eventually all be given to local hospitals and police stations as a way to say thanks for all they do for our city. A year ago today Taylor and Luca began working on Still Running: An Art Marathon for Boston. A couple of grants, a trip to DC, 15 Art Marathons, 4 exhibitions, and over 200 pieces of artwork later, the work of Still Running is now being hung in Boston City Hall for its final exhibition, and will then have a permanent home with many first responders and stations around the city. I still can't believe we did it. You can check out the Still Running Artwork at City Hall alongside other artists celebrating the marathon beginning on April 24!
