The LEAH Project The LEAH Project’s mission is to promote the power of youth, especially BIPOC youth, to diversify the STEM fields.

Through paid STEM internships, dynamic college and career readiness programming, and meaningful youth leadership opportunities, LEAH cultivates the confidence of youth and equips them with the skills and connections they need to thrive.

Our summer internships are now open. Check out our website for more details in regard to which internship would be right for you.

Application Deadline: Applications and Recommendation forms are due March 31st at 11:59 PM Eastern Standard Time
When: July 6th-August 7th
Schedule: 9:00AM – 4:00PM Monday through Friday with an hour break for lunch.
Where: A biology lab in Kendall Square, Cambridge

As we enter the new year, we’re proud to share key highlights from the LEAH Project’s continued work to diversify and strengthen the STEM pipeline last year:

✨145 youth served
✨ 300+ elementary students reached
✨ 99% HS graduation
✨ 95% college enrollment
✨ 95% college persistence (vs. 76% nationally)
✨ $1.6M+ earned in scholarships & grants
✨ 81% of interns increased science skills
