Alright South Enders!! We’re less than 2 weeks away from our biennial fundraiser. Have you secured your tickets yet?!?

You won’t want to miss this. Great opportunity to meet your neighbors, enjoy some good eats, bid on some stellar prize packages from local business favorites… and best of all, your participation supports and drives our future events! If you like the pumpkin patch Halloween gathering, the annual holiday wreath hanging, periodic wine downs, neighborhood cleanup projects??? Our fundraising efforts directly impact these activities!!

It may be cold and rainy outside, but we’re still joyfully thinking about our annual meeting!! 💜

For those of you who missed it and the rest of us who want to relive it, we were joined by lots of friendly faces, including Mayor Michelle Wu!! A part from the food and festivities, we also recognized Reggie Jean of Haley house as our Arthur Howe award recipient for all his contributions to our neighborhood. Happy Spring South Enders!

Our care of the beautiful and mighty elm tree on Warren Avenue is off to a good start. We recently signed on to a treatment plan with Barrett Tree Service East, supervised by their arborist, Ryan Andrews. On April 13 the first bio-stimulant was injected into the soil around the roots. At midseason Barrett will administer a second dose of stimulant, as well as the fungicide that will prevent Dutch Elm Disease. The plan includes two bio-stimulants every year and the disease prevention once every three years.

Many thanks to everyone who contributed to the fund for the tree. We’re still accepting donations so that the fund can grow and support the tree into the future. All around… great work South Enders. This guy is already sporty some stellar spring buds.

South Enders, Ok ok ok… maybe the vacuum is a bit overboard, but our neighborhood could use a little spring cleaning 🧽 🏠 😊

Join us next Saturday, May 2nd. Many hands make quick work and all that jazz! It’s a good excuse to get out of the house, meet your neighbors and maybe reward yourself with that soft serve cone 🍦 or perhaps a ☕️

Hey South Enders - Mark your calendars and cross your fingers for nice weather!! Join us for a little spring cleaning around the neighborhood.

We’ll have brooms, racks, gloves, coffee and such. All the necessary tools to get the job done. We’ll keep this place looking good and catch up with your neighbors while we do it. ❤️ 🏠

Alright Ellis - We got this! We survived round 1 of Snowpocalypse 2026. Aka Thundersnow!!

If you have to be on the road, use caution. Stay safe when shoveling? Please take breaks. You’re already doing this because of seen it - thank you to all for supporting and helping your neighbors shovel. Let’s keep it up for the second wave. Check on each other. If you need help, please ask for it 💜 💜

Congrats to the kids at home who are enjoying the day off school. The adults are jealous and juggling that. Have fun in the snow but also help your parents shovel. Or spend 20 minutes picking up the house. 😉
