The Actor's Choice Reading Series

The Actor's Choice Reading Series HISTORY
In the summer of 2010, four actors—Julia Broder, Becky Webber, McCaela Donovan and Marie Polizzano— founded The Actor’s Choice Reading Series.

We felt it was important for actors to have artistic control over the material we performed as well as the other artists with whom we collaborated, so we decided to create that opportunity for ourselves. We chose a playwright whose work we wanted to feature in a series of staged readings, selected the ensemble of actors who we wanted to perform in them, and directors whose work we admired to direct each play.
