We are members of the community, organizations and businesses in the Boston area and Boston University Medical Center. We meet the 1st and 3rd Thursday of month, from 5:15 to 6:30pm

COST? It costs $25 one time “new member fee” and

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM BUMC Tosatmasters? You can expect an engaging forum for leaders who want to become EFFECTIVE communicators in their professional, academic and personal life. As a group we grow if our members grow! So come and grow with us, you can visit us for FREE anytime and as many times as you want. No pressure EVER! We would love to see you ideas and your favorite interactive activities to our Toastmasters. We are here to celebrate your achievements and contributions, for your growth as a true Leader and Communicator at Toastmasters. WHO IS IN THIS GROUP? This is a community of toastmasters who belongs to BUMC, and other organizations and businesses nearby. This is a judgment-FREE zone, where member help, support and promote one another. WANT MORE REASONS TO VISIT US?
-You have the credentials but you do not have the confidence/attitude that is required to deliver an effective and enjoyable presentation
-Most of us grew up speaking English and some of us are multilingual, however none of us know how to speak in public unless our work requires that we do so.
-Public speaking is to deliver a message to an audience effectively and leave them wanting more. The reason why we are afraid of public speaking is that we are afraid of not being liked on stage.
-BMC Toastmasters is a humble group of toastmasters who voluntary club you/anyone can join to improve effective communication, public speaking and leadership skills
-Learn how to effectively communicate with your difficult professor/boss for a better grade or better pay.
