One of New England’s most anticipated business events returns this fall.

Save the date for The New England Council’s 2026 Annual Celebration on October 29 at Encore Boston Harbor.

Each year, nearly 1,800 leaders from the business, nonprofit, higher education, and public sectors gather to celebrate the people and organizations helping shape the future of our region. The evening’s highlight is the presentation of the prestigious New Englander of the Year Awards, honoring individuals whose leadership has strengthened New England’s economy, communities, and quality of life.

The New England Council is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of U.S. Representative Barney Frank. The Council was honored to work with the Congressman on a wide array of issues impacting the New England region during his time in Congress. From protecting consumers, to expanding access to housing and healthcare, to fighting for civil rights and equality, he was an incredible leader whose legacy will be felt for many years to come. We extend our deepest condolences to his loved ones during this difficult time.
