Our Mission Is Being Tested. We Need Our Community.
Over the past several months, Fatherly Justice Association has faced significant legal and financial challenges that have placed tremendous strain on our organization.
As many of you know, FJA was created to support parents, strengthen families, and provide a safe space for family reunification. Our Reuniting Center has helped families reconnect, offered supervised visitation services, provided guidance through difficult family court matters, and served as a resource for countless parents seeking support.
Today, we find ourselves fighting not only to continue our mission, but to keep our doors open.
If FJA has ever helped you, answered your phone call, provided guidance, attended a community event, supported your family, partnered with your organization, or simply listened when you needed someone in your corner, we are asking for your help.

We know the work we do matters because we have seen the impact firsthand. We have watched parents rebuild relationships with their children. We have walked alongside families during some of the most difficult moments of their lives.

Co‑parenting is difficult, especially when the other parent doesn’t want to co‑parent. But coexisting is still possible and sometimes it’s the only path forward. Coexisting means recognizing that both parents love the child, even if they have different upbringings, different styles, and different ways of showing it. None of that makes a father less than the custodial parent. As a father of a 10‑year‑old daughter, coexisting is what I have and what I commit to. I understand my rights. I understand the mechanisms that protect me from conversations that go nowhere. And I stay focused on what matters most: fatherhood, in whatever form it takes.

📣 Fatherly Justice Association Update

Today we met with House Representative Rob Consalvo and House Representative Christopher Worrell, who represent communities across Roxbury, Dorchester, Hyde Park, and Roslindale. We want to sincerely thank them for taking the time to meet with us, listen to our concerns, and discuss the urgent need to modernize child support laws in Massachusetts.

Our conversation focused on House Bill H.2053 – “An Act Modernizing Child Support.” We highlighted the importance of:

• Fair support for incarcerated parents
• Ending harmful license suspensions
• Annual transparency reporting
• Strengthening two‑parent families and co‑parenting

Now we need everyone’s help to move this bill out of study before the end of the legislative session.

📢 PEACEFUL PROTEST FOR FAMILY COURT REFORM

Families, fathers, mothers, grandparents, and community members are invited to stand together and make their voices heard.

We believe every child deserves a safe, healthy, and meaningful relationship with both parents whenever possible. We are calling for transparency, accountability, fairness, and family-centered decisions within the family court system.
