5,000 books (and counting). Holy smokes.

Immense gratitude to everyone who has contributed to our collection – whether you're a publisher, an author, a friend of QT who bought us a book off our Bookshop.org wishlist, or a lover of q***r and trans books with a few to spare from your own collection.

We'll be spotlighting some of these books in the coming months as a part of our 2026 Annual Campaign, which launches on October 15th and aims to raise the funds needed to get these books into an open-to-the-public home. Stay tuned!

Thank you, thank you, thank you. Onwards!

EXCITING NEWS: We're so, so thrilled to share that our incredible co-founder Carina Traub will be officially joining the QT Library Board of Directors!

Carina has been leading the library since (quite literally) Day 1 – and we're so grateful that she's formally stepping into this new leadership role with the organization.

Carina (she/her) is an educator and nonprofit program manager who nerds out about spreadsheets and process improvements. Her love for q***r and trans books is incredibly deep, followed closely by her love for frozen treats.

Carina co-founded the QT Library because she firmly believes in access and representation. Building the QT Library has been one of the great joys (and learning experiences!) of Carina's life!
