EAG Scholarship College Tuition Scholarship The Evan A. Evan Gilmer stood for peace and inclusivity. We can be healthier together!

Gilmer Scholarship was established in 2018 to assist high school seniors residing in the Greater Boston area with higher education expenses and to raise mental health awareness amongst the youth in Boston and beyond. He was a passionate debater, mentor, activist, encourager, leader, and teacher. As a youth organizer at The Center for Teen Empowerment, he devoted much of his time serving his peers,

youth, and the community. Although he stood strong for so many people, he struggled with his mental health. The scholarship application will be released on October 30th of each calendar year. All applications and supporting documents must be received by email no later than March 31st of each calendar year. Team:

The 2025 EAG Scholarship recipient is a graduate of Brookline High School, and she will be attending Spelman College in the fall. When asked about her career goals, she stated, “I aspire to be a special education lawyer, fighting for children with disabilities and equitable educational opportunities.” We wish you the best in your next chapter Nene!
