A few friends from our congregtion here in Kentucky are joining me on a roadtrip to Louisville for the closing weekend of GA this year. We'll arrive on Friday in time for the Juneteenth Block Party, museum tours, and Regathering worship. On Saturday, we'll attend the MidAmerica regional assembly, then some of us will join our UU friends at the Pride Parade and Festival while others participate in the Meet The Moment discussion cohorts. We'll meet up later at Galt House for dinner and the Ware Lecture. On the way back home after Sunday worship, we'll debrief our experience and make plans for 2027. We've all registered for GA and signed up for studio site access. If I wanted to get together with other UU's during the closing weekend of GA this year, I'd first register. Then, I'd select the congregational gathering site that's easiest for me to attend. Maybe I'd spend the whole weekend there or maybe I'd commute there on Saturday for Meet the Moment discussions and the Ware lecture and then return home after the Sunday worship. https://www.uua.org/ga/travel/gatherings

From the GA mailbox: I would like to propose some recognition for long time GA attendees. I think long time attendees should get some recognition; a jacket, robe, medal or hat. What do you all think of this idea? How many years of GA attendance would it take to earn recognition?

Q: I plan to represent my congregation as a delegate at General Assembly this year. How do I register? A: GA is designed for flexibility, accessibility, and connection. There are several ways to participate.
🟣 As a business only delegate, you can participate and vote in the business sessions from Sunday, June 14 - Tuesday, June 16.
🔵Business only delegate registration opens soon (May 1).
🟡 While business only delegates may register without paying registration fees, there are actual costs tied to procuring content, staffing, suppporting attendees, and production livestreaming. Congregations are strongly encouraged to contribute $175 per delegate to help offset these costs and sustain GA.
🟣 You can also be a delegate AND engage fully with livestreamed worship, featured speakers, and webinars. You'll even have access to over 50 on-demand programming featured in our EduCenter. Registration for full online access is open now!
🔵Although 2026 is a virtual-first experience, there are also opportunities to gather with others in-person. Over the closing weekend, you might choose to join our studio audience in Louisville or participate at any one of our 8 satellite sites. There are also congregational gathering sites.
