Join us September 25–26 in Boston for the 2026 CVAMS Annual Conference, Morabeza in Action: Bridging Medicine and Community. 🇨🇻🩺
This year’s program brings together healthcare professionals, researchers, educators, students, community leaders, and partners from Cabo Verde and the diaspora for two days of learning, dialogue, and collaboration.
Friday, September 25 | 1:00–4:30 PM
Friday’s program will focus on research, education, mentorship, and student engagement, including opportunities to highlight scholarship, ongoing CVAMS initiatives, and the work being done by members and partners across our communities.
Saturday, September 26 | 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Saturday’s main conference program will broaden those conversations through panels addressing community health, sexual and reproductive health, global health collaboration, workforce and education, care across the lifespan, and the connections between healthcare in Cabo Verde and the diaspora.
Throughout the conference, we’ll also have an opportunity to reflect on how clinical work, research, education, community partnership, and diaspora engagement can inform one another as we continue working to strengthen health and healthcare for Cabo Verdean communities.
The conference is open to students, community members, healthcare clinicians, educators, researchers, and anyone interested in these conversations.
