She is a black 16 year-old female, 5'0 tall, approximately 100-115 lbs., with brown eyes, and black hair. She was last seen wearing gray sweatpants, a black hoodie, and brown boots.

She has ties to Malden, Somerville, and Boston.

Joel is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 9 years of experience. He has a masters of social work from Capella University and has been in the field since 2016. Joel is experienced working with diverse populations and specializes in trauma therapy and utilized a cognitive behavioral therapy approach.

Joel received the Emerging Leader award through the NASW (National Association of Social Workers) in 2024. Joel is actively engaged in community diversity and equality initiatives with Malden City leadership to create diversity. 🎓✨ Against all odds. This is Katie (Grow's Dreamer), Cam (Ary's younger brother) and Ary (Grow's Inspiration) at Cam's high school graduation. Ary was the  first high school graduate in her family and now her younger brother, Cam just walked the stage too! ❤️

Growing up in foster care, their path was anything but easy. But with courage, hard work, and the support of one another, they’ve both reached this incredible milestone. Havine one person who believes in you when the world feels unsure can change everything. Here’s to Ary and Cam for breaking cycles, building new beginnings, and inspiring so many.

Against the odds, with courage in their heart and resilience in every step — one incredible young person who grew up in foster care has just graduated high school at 18! 💪📚

While less than 44% of foster youth nationwide earn their diploma by 18, this graduate has defied the statistics and shown the world what strength, determination, and hope can truly achieve. 🌟

His sister was the first one in her family to graduate from high school just 8 years ago.

This is more than a diploma — it’s a triumph over adversity, challenge, and change. 👏

Plummer Youth Promise, a nonprofit that serves young people in the foster care system, is preparing to open a new facility on Winter Island in Salem this spring designed to better serve residents and their families.
