Today was meant to be a celebration of Xavier’s centennial—100 years of faith, excellence, and love. And while we honor that legacy, our hearts are heavy as we grieve the loss of a beloved student member of our Xavier community.

This is a trying time. For some, the weight of the world feels unbearable. If you are hurting, please know: you are not alone. Your life has purpose. You are loved beyond measure. Xavier was built on faith, community, and care—let us lean into that now more than ever.

Check in on each other. Extend grace. Speak love. Ask for help. Offer presence.

As we reflect on our 100-year legacy, let us also build a future rooted in compassion—for our students, for ourselves, and for one another.

May we cover our Xavier family in prayer, especially those most deeply impacted by today’s loss.

The Xavier University New England Alumni Chapter turned 1!

Becoming a chartered Chapter during a global pandemic was no easy feat. We had a successful Xavier mask pop-up shop, virtual Mardi Gras brunch, and so much more!
