Always remember that the Sons of Liberty often dressed in American Indian regalia when attacking the British. They wanted to hide their their true identity, but most importantly if they were seen the British would have blamed the American Indian and took their rage out on us.

“In an effort to hide their true identities, many of the Sons of Liberty attempted to pass themselves off as Mohawk Indians because if caught for their actions they would have faced severe punishment. Reports from the time describe the participants as dressed as Mohawks or Narragansett Indians.”

🔥🔥URGENT CALL TO ACTION: STOP THIS APPALLING CHILD ABDUCTION!🔥🔥

We need to bring attention to a deeply concerning situation involving a case of a Pretendian Named Nikki Richman, who falsely claimed Navajo identity in order to gain custody of a young Native American Child named Chanel. Chanel had been placed in the foster system following the tragic loss of her mother, who was a victim of her father's actions.

Disturbingly, it has come to light that this woman is not enrolled in any American Indian Nation and deliberately deceived authorities to circumvent the child's rights under ICWA (Indian Child Welfare Act). But, the gravity of the situation doesn't end there.

Shockingly, Chanel is being referred to as "Mowgli" and "little Native baby" in a derogatory manner by this foster family. Despite the child's blood grandmother's pleas to not only see but raise her grandchild (as stipulated by ICWA), and despite obtaining a court order, this Pretendian refuses to allow Chanel to be reunited with her rightful family.

This is unequivocally wrong. Native children have experienced loss, theft and mistreatment since the arrival of colonizer ships, and it is disheartening that even in 2023, we are confronted with such deplorable examples like this one.

We must unite and take action today to ensure justice for Chanel and countless other indigenous children who have suffered similar ordeals. Let's rally together and demand that Chanel be returned to her rightful family immediately!

Wanishi Henry Jenkins and Music Observe for the write up.
“Daniel StrongWalker Thomas Continues to Protect the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Through Activism & Music

More than just a source of entertainment, music has its way of telling stories that are designed to move others. While most musicians use songs as a medium for self-expression, a select few individuals wield the power of music to stand as a voice of the unheard and underrepresented. They set out to catalyze change, spark action, and create a legacy that ripples throughout the years. One such influential personality who is taking advantage of the power of music for the greater good is Daniel StrongWalker Thomas.”

Gifts for American Indian Children
“According to the Bureau of Justice Statistics, Native Americans are incarcerated at a rate that is 38% higher than the national average. In 19 states, they are more overrepresented in the prison population compared to any other race and ethnicity.”

This year for Christmas let us remember our American Indian brothers in sisters behind bars. They are fighting addiction, fighting the system and working towards getting their lives together. But while they are gone who suffers the most are their families. Especially their children. Becuse if the high rate of incarceration for American Indian communities many of our youth will be celebrating Christmas without anything to open form their incarcerated family member. So this year the Global Iniative for Indigneous Advancement and AIM NE Woodlands are teaming up to raise funds to buy presents for American Indian children who’s parents are serving time. Please visit https://giia.ngo/donate/ and consider making a donation to purchase gifts. Also please email [email protected]
