Your immune system has a story to tell. We help you listen. We want to work together to better understand your autoimmune disease — at the single-cell level.

Only by understanding the cells that cause your disease do we have a chance of beating it. For that, we will need your help. Together, we can build the future of medicine. Finally: a way forward towards better health that is uniquely yours. Project Clio is a non-profit research organization dedicated to better understanding autoimmune disease, especially those that disproportionately affect women,

children, and people of color. Our current research focus concentrates on mapping changes occurring in the body during pregnancy for individuals with autoimmune disorders. Several autoimmune diseases, including multiple sclerosis (MS), sarcoidosis, and systemic lupus erythematosus, show lessened activity during pregnancy. Project Clio hopes that gaining more knowledge of pregnancy-related immune system changes will help make advancements for disease modifying therapies.

I am very pleased to announce that JURA Bio, Inc. and Project Clio are hosting a research sample drive on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 from 10am- 2pm in the Venture Development Center, Wheatley Hall, 3rd Floor.

We are looking to collect small samples (12 ml, about a teaspoon) of blood from a wide variety of people to better understand the variations in immune cells between people. This is to further our goal of creating treatments for autoimmune diseases.
